BALMOG Get into the Dark Forces “Vacuum”

of

Formed around the years 2003 and 2004 by Balc, Virus and Morg and located in Soutomaior (Galiza, Northwest Atlantic coast of Spain ), BALMOG is an entity devoted to the most obscure and fiercest Black Metal. From the very beginning, the three headed beast had a clear idea and objective in its mind: to create the most obscure and violent music searching in the depths of
human thought and knowledge.
Between 2006 and 2012 the band released several demo tapes and splits finding a respected place in the global underground, that’s when the band edits their first full-length entitled “Testimony of the Abominable,” a work where the band explored different old, obscure and extreme metal traditions, searching for a hallmark of identity that remains intact to this day. During all these years the band took to the stages of different countries the violence and chaos preached in their works and worked hard on the composition of his second album, “Svmma Fide,” becoming one of the most acclaimed albums of 2015 in the underground Black Metal scene. After that year and a prolific period of tours, festivals and live shows, BALMOG released numerous splits before getting to the third full-length of their career: “Vacuum,” an album in which the band acquires its highest level of maturity, both musically and conceptually. “Vacuum” will be supported by two labels already known by the band, War Anthem Records from Germany (CD version) and Blackseed Productions from Spain (vinyl version) as well as In Pulverem Mortis Productions (tape edition).
With “Vacuum,” BALMOG go a step further in terms of obscurity and composition, digging into the obscure labyrinthine essence of their debut and taking the violence and rawness integrity of “Svmma Fide.” The album was recorded at Moontower Studios by Javi Félez (Foscor, Teitanblood, Graveyard, Ataraxy,…). and mastered at Necromorbus Studio, Sweden.
