MAIRU Release Debut EP ‘The Sacred Dissonance’ With A Video For Second Seingle

Instrumental post-metal band MAIRU has released their second single “Sacred Lands.” The song is taken from their debut EP The Sacred Dissonance, produced by Tom Dring(Venom PrisonDawn Ray’dat Vagrant Recordings. You can check out the single below and the entire EP on their Bandcamp page.

Formed in the North West of England in April 2018, the band blend ethereal passages with brute force and sludgey grooves. They play what they consider instrumental post-metal, primarily influenced by Neurosis, Cult of Luna, Pelican, Mastodon and Deftones. Since making their live debut in September 2018, they have played with such bands as Part Chimp, Bast, Voices and Hundred Year Old Man.
