METALLICA have teamed up with Labatt Breweries to produce a limited-edition run of a METALLICA beer. If all goes as planned, the beer will be placed on the market in Quebec September 28.
“We are very pleased that the guys in METALLICA are participating in this unique partnership in the world that marks the history of the Centre Videotron,” said Mon Journal spokesman Labatt, Jean Gagnon.
More than 91,000 black cans will be on the market to mark the historic transition from METALLICA in the new amphitheater.
Once the METALLICA show is finished, the tanker filled with Budweiser will then take the road to complete its maturation in Labatt plant in LaSalle, near Montreal.
According Labatt, music fans can purchase the beer in cases of 15 and 24.
