According to RollingStone.com, Ozzy Osbourne will guest star on Nickelodeon‘s popular preschool series “Bubble Guppies” as Sid Fishy, a “rock and roll fish who loves being rotten.”
Osbourne told RollingStone.com that he accepted the offer to star in the series because of his 2-year-old granddaughter Pearl. “The whole reason I did the show was for Pearl,” said the singer. “She has Nick Jr. on 24/7. I can’t wait to see her reaction when she hears my voice come from Sid Fishy‘s mouth.”
In April 2011, Ozzy made a guest appearance on the Disney Channel animated program “Fish Hooks”. Ozzy guest starred as an “Earth Troll” in an episode in which Oscar the fish tried to get his brother Milo to “change his careless ways and to see the importance of recycling.” Oscar disguised himself as the Earth Troll — voiced by Ozzy — to make the lesson sink in.
Osbourne‘s voice could also be heard in the film debut of “Gnomeo & Juliet”, a loose adaptation of Shakespeare‘s “Romeo & Juliet”, which was produced by Elton John and his partner, David Furnish. Ozzy Osbourne played a little deer called Fawn.
