SONS OF APOLLO have drawn the attention of music fans with the poster for their upcoming show in Moscow, Russia, which presents the band as “больше, чем DREAM THEATER” meaning “more than DREAM THEATER.”
Sons of Apollo is aa progressive metal supergroup formed in 2017 and composed of drummer Mike Portnoy, bassist Billy Sheehan, keyboardist Derek Sherinian, vocalist Jeff Scott Soto, and guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal.
The show in question will take place on September 19 at the Glavclub. On their recent tour, SONS OF APOLLO played only two DREAM THEATER songs – “Just Let Me Breathe“ and “Lines in the Sand,” both off 1997’s “Falling into Infinity,” the only DT record to feature Sherinian on keyboards.
