7 POUNDS OF PRESSURE Release New Track ‘Birds Of Prey’

Rock band 7 POUNDS OF PRESSURE have released their debut single titled “Birds of Prey” to all digital outlets. The single was mixed by Eric Rachel (Skid Row, Symphony X) and mastered by Alan Douches (Skid Row, Symphony X). The band will release their debut, full length album later this year. The music is a mix of metal, rock, classic rock, and a hint of progressive rock. The band’s influences are a combination of Judas Priest, Pantera, Metallica and Symphony X.

Says Steve Tobin when asked about the new album’s theme: “The military theme aspect is about my dad’s military experiences. My dad was an Army Paratrooper, an Airborne Ranger in the Korean war out of the 82nd, although the songs can apply to all military personnel and all people’s personal experiences. It Isn’t pro war. It’s merely sharing some experiences.
