7-Year-Old Kid Drummer Plays SLIPKNOT On ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’

Kid Plays Slipknot On Ellen Show

7-year-old drumming prodigy Caleb H recently made it onto ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show‘ after previously going viral with his air drumming performance at a SLIPKNOT show back in 2020.

During his recent ‘Ellen‘ appearance, Caleb performed SLIPKNOT‘s 2008 track “Sulfur“, while also chatting with Ellen and receiving a special gift from SLIPKNOT drummer Jay Weinberg.

“My next guest is the cutest little drummer I have ever seen. All the way from Cumbria, England, please welcome seven-year-old Caleb Hayes,” DeGeneres said, introducing the young drumming star.

After his performance, he sat down next to DeGeneres for a brief interview, where he revealed he has been drumming since he was two years old. Unsurprisingly, he named Iowa metallers as his favorite band and, surprisingly, he said that thinking about chocolate helps distract him from the pressures of performing.

Check out his performance below.

During a recent appearance on Eddie Trunk‘s SiriusXM Trunk Nation With Eddie TrunkSLIPKNOT singer Corey Taylor offered an update on band‘s follow-up to 2019 We Are Not Your Kind.

“The artwork’s done,” he said. “We just came up with the title. I’m not gonna tell you it right now. But we’re really stoked.

“It’s really killer, man,” Corey continued. “It’s darker than We Are Not Your Kind, but there’s a ton of melody. I’ve been telling everybody that it’s like a heavier version of Vol. 3. It’s got so many textures and layers. The heavy stuff has attack but the melodic stuff you can just sink your teeth in; there’s a lot of great melodies and hooks. I’m really, really excited for people to hear it.”
