AC/DC is officially heading back Down Under. The legendary rock icons have announced their first Australian tour in a decade, set to take place this November and December across five massive stadium shows.
The trek kicks off on November 12 at Melbourne Cricket Ground and will hit major cities including Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth, before wrapping up in Brisbane on December 14. The tour is produced by TEG and features support from high-energy punk rockers AMYL AND THE SNIFFERS.
This run marks the band’s long-awaited return to their home soil—their last Australian tour was back in 2015. Fans have been clamoring for the rock veterans to return, and now the wait is finally over.

The tour shares its name with AC/DC’s 2020 album Power Up, which was a global success. The record debuted at No. 1 in Australia and in 20 other countries, including the U.S. Billboard 200, marking the band’s third No. 1 album there. It also earned Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance, and Best Music Video for the single “Shot in the Dark.”
As of now, the current live lineup features Brian Johnson back at the mic, Angus Young in electrifying form, Stevie Young on rhythm guitar, Chris Chaney (JANE’S ADDICTION, Alanis Morissette) holding down the low end, and Matt Laug on drums. While some fans are still hoping for a return by Phil Rudd for the Aussie leg, there’s no official word on whether he’ll rejoin.
