AEROSMITH and British rocker Yungblud have officially revealed their new collaborative single, “My Only Angel”, following an unforgettable joint performance at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. The track is now available for pre-save and promises to showcase the unique chemistry between rock legends and the modern alternative star.
The collaboration first sparked on stage at UBS Arena in Long Island, New York, where Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Nuno Bettencourt, and Yungblud joined forces to pay tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne. The supergroup opened with Osbourne’s iconic “Crazy Train,” performed by Yungblud and Bettencourt, before moving into “Changes,” a song Yungblud had previously delivered at Back to the Beginning, BLACK SABBATH and Ozzy Osbourne’s final show.
Fans were treated to a memorable moment after the set when a short clip circulated showing Steven Tyler and Yungblud embracing, with Tyler teasing, “We got a secret!” That “secret” has now been unveiled as the new single, “My Only Angel.” A brief preview of the song is already available and it can be seen below.
This collaboration comes at a poignant moment for AEROSMITH. Steven Tyler has made several high-profile appearances in 2025, including performing at Back to the Beginning earlier this summer. The band’s planned Peace Out Tour, announced in May 2023 as a 40-date North American farewell, was cut short after Tyler suffered a fractured larynx during a performance at UBS Arena on September 9, 2023. While rescheduled dates for 2024 had been confirmed, AEROSMITH ultimately canceled the remainder of the tour on August 2, 2024, marking their retirement from the road.
