SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL frontman Alex Terrible has suffered a major blow to his long-running side business after the building housing his mask manufacturing operation partially collapsed.
For nearly a decade, Terrible has been producing his signature Kid Of Darkness masks in Russia — the same fearsome designs he and his bandmates wear onstage during SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL live shows. The masks have become a symbol of the band’s image and have been a popular item among fans worldwide.
However, tragedy struck recently when a significant portion of the office building where the masks were being made unexpectedly gave way. According to Terrible, his team was working inside the facility at the time and heard loud cracking noises just moments before the structure failed. Fortunately, everyone managed to escape without serious injury.
Terrible shared a video on social media showing the aftermath, walking through the wreckage with one of his employees and surveying the extensive damage.
He later addressed the incident in a message to fans, apologizing for inevitable delays in fulfilling mask orders due to the loss of materials and the need to relocate and rebuild:
“Sorry for the delay guys but we have an issue.
We are making everything we can to make the moving process as fast as possible.
Our old building just doesn’t exist anymore so we have to start from very beginning at the new place. Prepare everything and find money to rebuild everything for work.
We know that shipping from Russia to another country sometimes takes ages but we are not Amazon — we are trying our best to make this as fast as possible.
We started to produce this mask in 2016. Our quality of the product and service has grown since then. This is our new chapter I guess!
