Just hours after ARCH ENEMY announced they had officially parted ways with vocalist Alissa White-Gluz, the singer has now released her own statement addressing her exit and thanking fans for more than a decade of support.
The band’s original announcement read: “ARCH ENEMY have parted ways with singer ALISSA WHITE-GLUZ. We’re thankful for the time and music we’ve shared and wish her all the best. Whenever there is an ending, there is also a beginning. See you in 2026.”
White-Gluz joined ARCH ENEMY in 2014, stepping in for outgoing vocalist Angela Gossow. Over the past decade, she became one of the most recognizable voices in modern melodic death metal, performing on four studio albums: War Eternal (2014), Will to Power (2017), Deceivers (2022), and the band’s most recent release, Blood Dynasty (2025). Her era with ARCH ENEMY marked some of the band’s biggest touring cycles and global visibility, fueled by her dynamic delivery and commanding stage presence.
Now, the vocalist has addressed fans directly with her own message: “After 12 years in ARCH ENEMY, we have parted ways. I am forever thankful to the thousands of amazing fans I have met along the way. Thank you, Beastlings!
“I can’t wait to share what I have been working on with you all (with some big surprises in store). Stay tuned for big news in 2026 and see you very soon.”
