Thrash metal legends ANTHRAX are gearing up for a massive 2026, and fans down under have reason to celebrate. The band has officially announced their first Australian tour since 2019, marking a long-awaited return to the continent.
The upcoming tour will see Anthrax performing in four cities this March:
- March 23 – Brisbane, Fortitude Music Hall
- March 25 – Adelaide, Hindley St Music Hall
- March 26 – Melbourne, Festival Hall
- March 28 – Sydney, Enmore Theatre
This Australian leg comes amid a busy year for the band. Alongside European and North American dates with IRON MAIDEN, ANTHRAX is also preparing to release their highly anticipated 12th studio album. Drummer Charlie Benante recently revealed on social media that the band has completed mixing the follow-up to their 2016 record For All Kings.
Much of the recording and mixing took place at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Northridge, California, with producer Jay Ruston returning to helm the sessions. Ruston previously worked with ANTHRAX on For All Kings and 2011’s Worship Music.
