Swedish melodic death metal titans ARCH ENEMY have officially announced that they have parted ways with singer Alissa White-Gluz.
In a statement released by the band, they said: “ARCH ENEMY have parted ways with singer Alissa White-Gluz. We’re thankful for the time and music we’ve shared and wish her all the best. Whenever there is an ending, there is also a beginning. See you in 2026.”
White-Gluz, who joined ARCH ENEMY in 2014 following the departure of longtime vocalist Angela Gossow, became a defining voice for the band over the past decade, performing on the albums War Eternal (2014), Will to Power (2017), Deceivers (2022), and most recently Blood Dynasty (2025). Her powerful vocals and commanding stage presence helped cement ARCH ENEMY’s status as one of the leading forces in modern melodic death metal.
As the band hints at future plans with the line “See you in 2026,” fans are left wondering who will step into the vocalist role next and what direction ARCH ENEMY will take in the coming years.
