Swedish melodic death metal pioneers AT THE GATES have sparked intense speculation about their next chapter after quietly updating their Facebook cover photo with the phrase “The Ghost Of A Future Dead.” The mysterious image, paired with a brief teaser clip and the caption “‘The Ghost Of A Future Dead’ – Coming soon…,” appears to confirm the title of the band’s upcoming studio album.
While no official release date for the full album has been announced, reports suggest that the first single, “The Fever Mask,” is set to drop this Friday, February 20th.
