BLACK LABEL SOCIETY launched its 2026 North American tour Friday night (March 6) with a powerful opening set at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado. The show marked the band’s return to the road and delivered a setlist packed with fan favorites, deep cuts, and a surprise cover that hadn’t been played live in decades.
The band’s performance of Ozzy Osbourne’s iconic ballad “No More Tears” was the highlight of the night. It marked the first time BLACK LABEL SOCIETY had performed the song live since 2001. The rendition arrived mid-set and flowed seamlessly into the rest of the show, reminding fans of the deep musical ties between guitarist/vocalist Zakk Wylde and his longtime collaborator Osbourne.
A studio version of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY’s take on “No More Tears” previously appeared as a bonus track on the North American edition of the band’s 1999 album Sonic Brew. While the recording has circulated among fans for years, Friday’s performance marked a rare opportunity to hear the arrangement brought back to the stage.
The concert also served as the live debut of material from the band’s upcoming album Engines Of Demolition, set for release on March 27 via MNRK Heavy. The 15-track record includes four previously released singles — “Name In Blood,” “Broken And Blind,” “The Gallows,” and “Lord Humungus.” It also features a tribute track titled “Ozzy’s Song,” dedicated to Wylde’s long musical partnership with the legendary BLACK SABBATH frontman.
