BLINK-182’s TRAVIS BARKER Buys One Of Ten OZZY OSBOURNE DNA Cans

In a bizarre yet perfectly rock ‘n’ roll crossover, BLINK-182 drummer Travis Barker has revealed himself as one of just ten people to purchase a rare piece of heavy metal memorabilia: a can of Liquid Death Iced Tea containing the DNA of none other than Ozzy Osbourne.

Barker proudly showcased the $450 collectible on Instagram, adding his name to the list of participants in what’s being called one of the strangest marketing campaigns in recent music history.

Dubbed the “Infinite Ozzy” promotion, the collaboration between Osbourne and Liquid Death saw the Prince of Darkness drink from ten cans of iced tea—each one immediately sealed to preserve his saliva (and, in theory, his DNA). The result? A handful of fans now own a lab-encased, Ozzy-autographed can of tea that may or may not hold the genetic key to cloning one of rock’s most iconic figures.

The campaign leaned heavily into its dark humor, with Ozzy himself summing it up in trademark fashion: “Clone me, you bastards.”

All ten cans have since sold out, according to the official Liquid Death website.

The timing of this off-the-wall campaign lines up with a much more serious milestone in Osbourne’s life: his final live performance, set for July 5 in his hometown of Birmingham, England. The “Back To The Beginning” farewell show will reunite Ozzy with his original BLACK SABBATH bandmates—Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—for the first time in over 20 years.

Already confirmed to perform are heavyweights like METALLICAGUNS N’ ROSESSLAYER, PANTERATOOLALICE IN CHAINSHALESTORMANTHRAXSAMMY HAGARLAMB OF GOD, and Papa V Perpetua — making this a colossal celebration of metal history. With rumors swirling about “two or three” surprise acts still under wraps, anticipation is reaching a fever pitch.
