A federal jury in Los Angeles, California has ruled in favor of LED ZEPPELIN today in a lawsuit by the estate of the late Randy Craig Wolfe, A.K.A Randy California, of the band SPIRIT. The estate claimed that the opening riff of Stairway To Heaven, which was released a couple of years after the obscure instrumental Taurus released by SPIRIT in 1968, was too close.
The official statements of both LED ZEPPELIN and Warner Music Group are as follows.
I love metal. I love to read. I love to write. I love woman breasts and beer.
