COREY TAYLOR’s Wife Reacts To Claims That She’s Using Her Husband To Promote Her Career

Alicia Dove, wife of Corey Taylor, has took to Twitter to defend herself against recent backlash from fans that she is using SLIPKNOT frontman to promote her career.

Backlash came after her dancing group, CHERRY BOMBS, were announced for Knotfest festival, which ended up cancelled due to COVID-19.

Alicia wrote on Twitter: “She wouldn’t have gotten knotfest without Corey

“Shows don’t work that way. Promoters don’t freely give out thousands of dollars just because someone is married to someone else,” she added.

“They have to justify the expense and there has to be interest. God some of you are dense.

Cherry Bombs

Knotfest previously described CHERRY BOMBS as a “badass eruption pioneering the genre. Not with guitars, vocals, bass or drums like a traditional “it band” but by transcending the visual.”

“In an industry that at times has been very male-oriented, CHERRY BOMBS are paving the way, both with female empowerment and an explosive detour utilizing jaw-dropping aerials, intense fire sequences and dialed-in choreography to rock the stages,” statement from festival continued.

Alicia Taylor is the driving force, a former NFL cheerleader who wasn’t ready to hang up the moves and wanted to continue her way — integrating rock & metal music, growing tired of dancing to Katy Perry.
