DAVE GROHL To Perform At ‘Saturday Night Live’ 50th Anniversary Concert

Foo Fighters Live 2023

For “Saturday Night Live’s” 50th anniversary, FOO FIGHTERSDave Grohl will take the stage at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The “Home Coming Concert,” scheduled for February 14th, boasts a star-studded lineup including Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Post Malone, Devo, and Eddie Vedder of PEARL JAM, in addition to Grohl. Fans can catch the performance via livestream on Peacock or at select theaters.

Since his admission of infidelity last fall, Grohl has largely remained out of the public eye, aside from some volunteer work. This changed late last month when he reunited with his former NIRVANA bandmates onstage for a benefit concert supporting those affected by the Californian wildfires.

In October, it was reported that FOO FIGHTERS are planning to go on an “indefinite hiatus.”

The band unexpectedly canceled their scheduled performance at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, with only three days’ notice.

Hellfest founder Ben Barbaud also revealed that the band was originally slated to perform at the festival.

Discussing MUSE‘s headlining performance, Barbaud explained, “FOO FIGHTERS cancelled their summer tour. They were offered to me on a platter. A month ago, I was offered to program them with a handful of other European festivals.

FOO FIGHTERS having cancelled their summer tour, MUSE was called in as reinforcements. I accepted because I was missing a headliner on Friday and because the Hellfest audience is more and more open. With age, I too have matured, I am less sectarian.”
