DAVID VINCENT Reveals TERRORIZER Is Working On New Music

Terrorizer Band 2025

TERRORIZER bassist and frontman David Vincent has confirmed that new music is indeed in the works for the legendary grindcore outfit.

During a recent interview with France’s Electric Eye, Vincent spoke about the band’s future and hinted at fresh material currently being developed. “Well, funny you should ask,” he said when asked about the possibility of new music. “We actually have some new stuff. But I don’t have anything to announce yet.”

This marks the first substantial update on TERRORIZER’s creative activity since Vincent mentioned earlier this year that he and his bandmates had “some things in the works.” While he’s keeping details under wraps, his comments suggest the band’s return is more than just a nostalgia run.

The current TERRORIZER lineup includes Vincent on bass, Pete “Commando” Sandoval (MORBID ANGEL, I AM MORBID) on drums, Brian Werner (formerly of VITAL REMAINS) handling vocals, and Richie Brown (EXMORTUS, THE ABSENCE, TRIVIUM, I AM MORBID) on guitar.

The group officially reactivated in 2023 after Sandoval and Vincent reconnected for new performances. Although their initially planned comeback show at Maranhão Open Air in Brazil was canceled, TERRORIZER finally hit the stage again on April 25, 2024, at SWR Barroselas Metalfest in Portugal — marking their first live appearance in years.

Originally formed in the late 1980s, TERRORIZER has long been hailed as one of the pioneering forces in grindcore and death metal. With Vincent confirming new material in progress, fans can expect the band’s raw aggression and uncompromising energy to return in full force soon — even if the official announcement is still under wraps.
