Recording and production of the album “In The Name of Lust and Sin” took place between 2019 and 2020 – the instrumental part in the USA (Boston, MA) and vocals were recorded in Brazil (Caruaru, PE) in 2020 -, aiming at a material that sounded closer to the band’s proposal, with a dark era, with themes and sounds that take us back to distant times, where man was looking for wisdom, conquests and spiritual elevation.
All the instrumentals were recorded by Belchior (guitars, keyboards, bass, drums and vocals in “Evil Spirit”) at Belchior’s Coven Studio in Quincy, MA – USA. The vocals were recorded by Eduardo Nightfall in Caruaru, PE – Brazil.
This is the debut effort of DEATH N’ DARKNESS PREVAILS, written by Belchior (guitars, keyboards, bass, drums and vocals in “Evil Spirit”) and Eduardo Nightfall (vocals) and brings 6 tracks of the purest Black Metal known by the musicians who have a rich musical background.
“In The Name of Lust and Sin” was released in its digital format in December 2020, while its physical format officially went public in March 2021 via Dead Paradise Records label.
