On the recent episode of “The Masked Singer” aired on April 5, Dee Snider, the lead singer of TWISTED SISTER, was unveiled as the Doll.
Securing the third position after Dandelion and Mantis, Doll delivered a rendition of Elvis Presley‘s “Jailhouse Rock.” However, none of the judges accurately identified Doll‘s true identity. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg assumed it was Iggy Pop, Robin Thicke guessed Gene Simmons, Nicole Scherzinger suggested David Lee Roth, and Ken Jeong believed it was Austin Butler.
“I couldn’t believe you guys didn’t get it,” Dee said. “You were circling around it. But let me tell you — Gene Simmons, Iggy Pop, no one could wear pumps like I did. And by the way, ladies, it’s like riding a bike. I wore them in the ’70s. It all came back to me once I put them on.” When asked if he had anything to say to his fans, Dee began an impromptu performance of his band’s classic hit “We’re Not Gonna Take It.”
