Hailing from Massachusetts/New Hampshire are DEATH RATTLE. They formed in 2009 after lead guitarist Ryan Vanderwolk and drummer Chris Morin met at a Lamb of God show in Boston, Massachusetts in 2009.
In a recent conversation with Ryan, he told me “Our major influences for Death Rattle are Pantera, Lamb of God, Gojira, Slipknot, Tool, Killswitch Engage, Down and Shadows Fall”.
They recently played one show in Hartford, CT with the legendary MACHINE F*CKING HEAD and have also been featured on the lineup for New England METAL/HARDCORE Festival and MAYHEM FESTIVAL, so it’s definitely worth checking these guys out!
Ryan is a massive fan of Dimebag’s legendary Razorback guitars and Jimmy plays Willie Adler’s signature ESP.
In 2012, they released their first album titled “Mans Ruin”. You can listen to it on their Soundcloud page!
