DREAM THEATER On Possible Reunion With MIKE PORTNOY: ‘Never Say Never’

Mike Portnoy

DREAM THEATER singer James LaBrie recently addressed possibility on reuniting with drummer Mike Portnoy, who left the band in 2010 and has since been replaced with Mike Mangini.

LaBrie addressed possibility of Portnoy‘s return while filming a video message on Cameo.

When asked by the fan if he has been in touch with Portnoy at all these last 10 years, with the fan adding that he wants to see a one-off-only reunion with Mike, LaBrie responded: “I haven’t spoke with Mike in 10 years, and to be honest with you, at this point in time, a reunion? I highly doubt it. But we don’t know what the future holds, right? So, never say never, the saying is.”

DREAM THEATER have recently rescheduled an Australian tour after being forced to postpone due to the coronavirus outbreak. Originally slated to take place in April, the tour will now take place in November, and will see DREAM THEATER continuing to promote their most recent studio album Distance Over Time, released in February of last year.
