Blackened avant-gardists ENSLAVED have launched into their30th year with thunder and flames. Although their Utgard European Tour will now take place in spring 2022, with support coming from INTRONAUT, OBSIDIAN KINGDOM and CROWN, the band has announced four new live albums/DVDs. Out June 25th, the audio and visuals for these releases have been taken from their revered Cinematic Tour 2020,with physical pre-orders launching today.
Ivar Bjørnson commented: “We are so stoked about how these Cinematic Tour releases turned out; the sound is great and the packaging is beautiful and unique like the shows themselves. The crown jewel for old vinyl collectors like ourselves has got to be the wooden box — handmade, numbered and named individually. That is simply… metal!”

The Rise of Ymir chronicles Enslaved‘s debut digital show, which took place on April 1st 2020 at USF, Bergen, as part of the Verftet Online Music Festival.
Chronicles of the Northbound, Below The Lights and Utgard – The Journey Within detail their Cinematic Summer Tour digital shows which took place last summer. The events were collaborations with respected European festivals Roadburn, Beyond The Gates and Summer Breeze.
ENSLAVED‘s upcoming tour dates, set to celebrate their acclaimed new studio album Utgard, will now take place in February and March 2022. The live run will include nineteen dates taking the band across seven countries.
