EVANESCENCE have officially unveiled details of their highly anticipated new album Sanctuary, arriving June 5, alongside the release of a brand-new single, “Who Will You Follow.”
The track serves as a powerful introduction to the band’s upcoming full-length effort, which has been more than three years in the making. “Who Will You Follow” was co-written and produced by Zakk Cervini (BAD OMENS, Yungblud, BRING ME THE HORIZON, SPIRITBOX) and Jordan Fish (POPPY, ARCHITECTS), while additional tracks on the album were helmed by renowned producer Nick Raskulinecz (KORN, FOO FIGHTERS, RUSH).
Frontwoman Amy Lee shared her excitement about the album, stating: “This album is over three years in the making, and finally listening back to it all at once, about to release it to the world, I am so damn proud of every second of it. It’s overwhelming. Working on it has been my outlet for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection… good thing we have the tour all lined up or I wouldn’t know what to do with myself now! I’ve been completely obsessed. I’m dying for the fans to hear this.”
Sanctuary will be available across multiple formats, including digital, standard CD, deluxe CD, and a limited-edition box set. Vinyl collectors can also look forward to a double LP version arriving later on September 4.
To support the release, EVANESCENCE will embark on a massive 2026 world tour starting June 11, spanning North America and Europe. The North American leg will feature support from SPIRITBOX and NOVA TWINS, while European dates will include POPPY, with NOVA TWINS appearing on select shows. K.Flay is set to open U.K. dates and will also join the band for their performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Leading up to this announcement, EVANESCENCE saw major success with recent singles “Fight Like A Girl” (featuring K.Flay) and “Afterlife.” The latter made a significant impact, topping Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and Mediabase’s Active Rock Radio chart in both the U.S. and Canada, while earning strong praise from both fans and critics.
