Ex-ARCH ENEMY Singer ALISSA WHITE-GLUZ Releases First Solo Single ‘The Room Where She Died’

Alissa White Gluz The Room Where She Died

Just hours after announcing her departure from ARCH ENEMY, vocalist Alissa White-Gluz has released “The Room Where She Died,” the first single from her upcoming debut solo album. The track marks an immediate and bold new step forward, giving fans their first glimpse of the artistic direction she’s pursuing in her next chapter.

The music for “The Room Where She Died” was composed by Oliver Palotai, keyboardist for KAMELOT, while White-Gluz performed, wrote, and recorded all the vocals herself.

The song is accompanied by a visually striking music video produced by Serbian creative team iCODE, built around a script written entirely by Alissa. The clip reflects the dramatic and expressive nature of the track, highlighting the creative freedom she is embracing.

In a statement about the release, Alissa said: “I hope you love this first offering from my upcoming solo album.

‘The Room Where She Died’ is a song that feels truly satisfying to me; like I get to express myself in so many ways that have been dormant for years.

“This upcoming album is diverse; and I love the idea of opening up this new chapter with this song and video, which I wrote the script for.

“Can’t wait to share more with you!”
