“We’re gonna party
Party till u puke
(These people are sick)”
This is an excerpt of Saxon’s “Party Til You Puke” just to situate my dear no what grounds we are exactly in with Fire Action and their fourth album called “Until the Heat Dies.” I did that because I couldn’t help it not to remind of Saxon’s party time era – I really don’t know if they are proud of it, but it is indeed a fact. It’s not that the music in here is so similar to Saxon’s back there, but the vibe is exactly the same and we all know Metal music is much more than only the music.
So, let the party begins!
Let’s start by the end, shall we? I guess grand finale “Midnight Avenue” is the track that most represents “Until the Heat Dies.” It’s 1980’s drenched Glam Metal is the symbol of what I heard here. It’s Alcatrazz‘ keyboarding sonancy is the thing that catches the eyes of the fan immediately. In fact, the album is a trip through 1980’s Glam Metal in all its variety and diversity. The initial riff of “Hard Days, Long Nights” takes the fan to the main guitar riff of Kiss’ “I Was Made for Loving You” and the keyboards and chorus again adress to Alcatrazz and Yngwie Malmsteen’s solo career. The same happens to following “Under the Gun” keeping Alcatrazz and Yngwie Malmsteen’s solo career influences with some Dokken guitars. “Dark Ages” comes with very prominent keyboards and a Saxon vibe and mood. Maybe the track I liked the most due exactly to the vibe and the mood. It’s track that makes the fan travels far, very far.
Ok, we all agree “Until the Heat Dies” the most original and fresh album of this year, but what a hell of album. It’s no secret I like this kind of album with all its party time mood and vibe. It’s an album to get the beer, prepare your neck, and listen to it very loud. by the way, only the initial guitar lead in the beginning of “Incitement of Insurrection” makes the album worth. Great tune.

I’m just a lucky guy who has chosen metal to live with for a long time. Metal changed my life for good. It made me more confident and stronger. Metalheads are naturally far away from the mass mediocrity and don’t accept impostures from anybody else. Metal is more than music, it’s a life changing oportunity!
