DETHKLOK‘s concert in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday night (May 16) was unexpectedly cut short after heavy smoke and fog effects during the band’s set reportedly triggered fire alarms at the venue.
The performance took place at Landmark Credit Union Live, a 4,500-capacity venue, where fans had already been treated to sets from co-headliners AMON AMARTH and opening act CASTLE RAT earlier in the evening without any reported issues.
However, roughly halfway through DETHKLOK‘s set, smoke alarms suddenly went off, the venue lights were shut down, and the sound was cut, bringing the show to an abrupt halt.
Following the incident, Brendon Small addressed fans via Instagram Stories, writing: “Thanks for your cooperation at tonight’s show. Since the show ended early, we’re working with the venue to make this right for you. Ticket holders will receive an email with more information soon.”
The Milwaukee stop was part of “The Amonklok Conquest” co-headlining tour featuring DETHKLOK and AMON AMARTH, which launched on April 15 in Phoenix and is scheduled to wrap up on May 21 in Las Vegas.
With support from CASTLE RAT, the trek has already made stops in cities including Houston, Brooklyn, Toronto, Detroit, and Denver, along with festival appearances at Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple.
