Multi-platinum alternative rock band FOO FIGHTERS are making their return to the stage later this year. After a hiatus in 2024, the band has confirmed their first live performance since frontman Dave Grohl’s admission of infidelity, which led to a temporary halt in their touring activities.

Last September, Grohl made a public revelation that he had fathered a child outside of his marriage, which prompted the FOO FIGHTERS to step back from their planned live appearances. The band’s last performance was on September 6, 2024, marking the end of their tour for the time being.

Though the FOO FIGHTERS have been absent from the stage, Grohl himself hasn’t shied away from performing. In recent months, he has joined former NIRVANA bandmates for a pair of mini-reunions, thrilling fans with a nostalgic return to the music they created together. Additionally, Grohl took part in a performance with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra at the Coachella festival in April, delivering a pair of FOO FIGHTERS covers to an enthusiastic crowd. A week later, he appeared at a charity concert, further showcasing his musical presence despite the hiatus from his main band.

Now, the FOO FIGHTERS are gearing up for a major return, announcing that they will take the stage at the Singapore Grand Prix on October 4, 2025. The Formula 1 event will be held at the iconic Marina Bay Street Circuit, bringing together an eclectic lineup of musical acts. In addition to the FOO FIGHTERS, performances are set to include legendary artist Elton John, Korean pop sensation G-Dragon, alt-rock icons THE SMASHING PUMPKINS, and rock veterans CROWDED HOUSE, among others.
