Italian atmospheric doom metal quintet GHOSTHEART NEBULA recently announced their signing to Black Lion Records. To celebrate the news the band have releasd their first single “Ascension pt.I: Cosmic River”, with the magnificent guest behind the microphone of Aeonian Sorrow’s singer Gogo Melone, also in charge for artworks duties. With the first single comes a lyrics video produced by Katerina Karp, and you can check it out below.
The band states:
“Looking inside another person is like sitting on the bank of a river, only if we open our mind and accept the other one we will be able to go back together towards the source of everything. Courage and awareness are mandatory to leave the old patterns behind us and drive them to the outfall.”
Ascension was recorderd by Aron Corti at Streetrecstudio (Como, Italy) and mixed and mastered by Øystein G. Brun (Borknagar) at Crosound Studio (Bergen, Norway). The album will be released this fall, more news to come on next weeks.
