Although Gibson did not show up at this year’s NAMM, the guitar manufacturer did make an appearance at the CES convention in Vegas, where Total Guitar has managed to obtain photos of their brand new Modern Flying V guitar.
Announced as the “total redesign of a Flying V model,” the six-string features a contoured top, “unique” finishes and the new Apex headstock, which was already showcased on the company’s Semi-Hollow Modern Double Cut guitar.
The instrument is available in gold and silver, and also packs a mirror pickguard. It currently remains unknown which exact pickups are included in the mix.
The price will be $4,499, you can check out a few photos below.
