The Portuguese Symphonic Metal band GLASYA, after its first appearance last year with the single and video “Heaven’s Demise,” which received an excellent reception from the public and the press, with the single being part of the Symphonic & Opera Metal Vol. 5, alongside bands like EPICA and KAMELOT, will this year release their debut album by the German label Pride & Joy Music on July 12.
Heaven’s Demise is composed by 10 songs where the band explores diverse themes and dynamics, always with a cinematographic feeling, ranging from Celtic, Asian, Medieval and Orchestral music. The lyrics emphasize the daily struggle of man who tries to conquer his space in the world, his conquests, his defeats and the strength to try again and fight.
Heaven’s Demise features four guests, the voices of Paulo Gonçalves from RASGO, Flávio Lino from DEADLYFORCE, Nélson Raposo, a voice-over professional, and the violinist Inna Calori.
The album was mixed and mastered by Fernando Matias in The Pentagon Audio Manufacturers Studios, who already worked with bands like MOONSPELL, BIZARRA LOCOMOTIVA, GWYDION, among others.
