Death Metal Heavyweight! With their 2013 released EP and an impressive debut album in 2016 behind them, GODSKILL have become a true heavyweight of the German death metal scene in just a few years, not least because of their extensive shows, touring activities and festival appearances.
The band ignites a real infernal storm with their very own interpretation of Blackened Death Metal and with the new second full-length “The Gatherer of Fear And Blood” the quartet has managed to immortalize this elemental force on record and to cover their rather gloomy themes in an appropriate way. Wrecking drums meet a brute bass foundation, accompanied by captivating guitar melodies paired with vocals like a welcome greeting at the gate to hell.
This infernal soundtrack was recorded and produced at Audiodrive Studios in Sinsheim by Pyogenesis veteran Tim Eiermann. The mastering was done by Jens Bogren in Sweden, who has already worked for Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, Opeth or Amorphis. “The Gatherer Of Fear And Blood” heralds an almost diabolical year’s end before the band goes on tour in 2019.

I’m just a lucky guy who has chosen metal to live with for a long time. Metal changed my life for good. It made me more confident and stronger. Metalheads are naturally far away from the mass mediocrity and don’t accept impostures from anybody else. Metal is more than music, it’s a life changing oportunity!
