During BLACK SABBATH‘s epic “Back To The Beginning” farewell show on July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham, UK, GUNS N’ ROSES delivered a powerful performance of “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.”
Taking the stage at 7:21 p.m., the legendary rockers tore into the 1973 classic with a heavy, psychedelic edge that stayed true to the original while infusing it with GN’R’s unmistakable swagger.
While known more for their hard rock roots than metal, GUNS N’ ROSES have long credited BLACK SABBATH as a foundational influence.
Their set was part of a stacked evening lineup that also featured SLAYER, METALLICA, TOOL, and many more — all leading into the emotional final performance by BLACK SABBATH themselves.
