GUNS N’ ROSES Release Statement Addressing AXL ROSE’s Onstage Outburst In Buenos Aires

Axl Rose Onstage Meltdown Buenos Aires

GUNS N’ ROSES have broken their silence following frontman Axl Rose’s on-stage meltdown during the band’s recent Buenos Aires concert.

The incident occurred on Saturday, October 18, during the opening song “Welcome To The Jungle,” when Rose appeared visibly angry after technical difficulties. He was seen throwing his microphone toward the drum kit, ripping off his leather jacket, and briefly leaving the stage. Later in the show, he kicked the bass drum and told the crowd, “So, I’ll just try and wing this.”

Fans quickly speculated about what caused the outburst, with many wondering whether Rose’s frustration was directed at the band’s sound or new drummer Isaac Carpenter.

Now, GUNS N’ ROSES have taken to social media to clear up the situation, explaining that the problem stemmed from a technical fault rather than any personal conflict.

“During the opening song at our recent Buenos Aires concert, Axl’s in-ear monitor pack had only the percussion in his ears versus his entire mix. The issue was fixed by our tech team by the third song, and we had a great night. The situation had nothing to do with Isaac Carpenter‘s playing, who is top notch and a great drummer.”

Despite the rocky start, the rest of the concert reportedly went smoothly, and GUNS N’ ROSES have confirmed that the remainder of their South American tour will continue as planned.
