HALESTORM Covers OZZY OSBOURNE’s ‘Perry Mason’ At ‘Back To The Beginning’ Concert (Video)

Halestorm Perry Mason

Another standout moment from BLACK SABBATH’s monumental “Back To The Beginning” farewell concert has emerged — this time courtesy of HALESTORM, who delivered a fiery cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s 1995 track “Perry Mason” during their set at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5.

Taking the stage at 2:37 p.m., HALESTORM used their brief slot to make a lasting impression, with frontwoman Lzzy Hale belting out the powerful Ozzmosis-era song with her signature blend of grit and grace. The performance added a refreshing modern edge to the day’s proceedings, paying homage to Ozzy’s solo career while still capturing the spirit of SABBATH’s legacy.

HALESTORM’s performance was one of many tributes during the all-day mega-concert curated by Tom Morello and hosted by Jason Momoa, bringing together a who’s who of rock and metal legends — including SLAYER, GOJIRA, TOOL, ALICE IN CHAINS, METALLICA, and many more.

The full schedule also featured two “supergroup” performances and special appearances by David Draiman, Billy Corgan, Jonathan Davis, Fred Durst, Papa V Perpetua, Sammy Hagar, and ex-Ozzy bandmates Jake E. Lee, Rudy Sarzo, and Mike Bordin.
