HAVOK To Begin Recording New Album In February

Havok

Modern-day thrashers HAVOK recently announced that they will enter a studio in Nashville, Tennessee in mid-February to begin recording a new album with producer Mark Lewis.

The band issued this statement via Facebook:

What an album cycle! We wanna thank all the bands we had the pleasure of touring with over the last three years….The Black Dahlia Murder, Killswitch Engage, Anthrax, Megadeth, AmonAmarth, Suicidal Tendencies, Children Of Bodom, Crowbar, Official Darkest Hour, GOROD, Harlott, Cephalic Carnage, Warbringer, Exmortus, Extinction A.D., Black Fast, and every other band we got to wreck necks with over this past few years. Love you all! Also want to send the biggest thanks over to YOU, our supporters for flying the Havok flag high and keeping our lives complete by getting to travel the world and play music for a living. We can not do any of this without you guys and you mean everything to us….seriously, if you came to a show, bought some merch, picked up a record or even just watched a YouTube video or streamed us or whatever….THANK YOU!!! We’re now compiling all the riffs we’ve built up and this new material is already so exciting for us. More-so than the Conformicide stuff when it was in the creation stage, so stay tuned!!! On that note, a juicy little piece of information: We’ll be recording this next banger with the insanely awesome producer engineer Mark Lewis in Nashville! Slated to start recording in mid-February…. needless to say we are PUMPED. 2019 is going to be a good year for tires if you catch the drift….. ya’ll stepped up…LESS GO

The record will serve as the follow-up to last year’s “Conformicide“, which was HAVOK‘s first studio album in nearly four years, and their first release with Nick Schendzielos on bass.
