What better way to benefit from being banned from playing at a commercial theme park than to launch a new merchandise line around it? Ice Nine Kills have been banned from playing at the Disney Springs House of Blues in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. due to their “violent imagery.” The band responded by designing a horror Disney-inspired merchandise line.
The show was set to take place at the venue April 26 with Falling in Reverse. An Ice Nine Kills fan tweeted at the band inquiring about the removal of this date from their tour. “Disney’s House of Blues in Orlando banned us from performing because of our violent imagery. It’s a shame because I know I’ve seen Donald Duck at a show before, he’s an INK fan,” the band responded.
