IRON MAIDEN have posted another video teaser inviting their fans to the “Belshazzar’s Feast” on their social media.
“Belshazzar’s Feast” is the story of the writing on the wall in the Bible, and fans have been speculating that the band has been teasing the announcement of its 17th album, possibly to be titled Writing On The Wall.
In the 14-second video message posted to MAIDEN‘s social media earlier today, the “Belshazzar’s Feast” poster is removed from a wall to reveal the slogan “WOTW”, which fans have theorized refers to Writing On The Wall.
Last month, Bruce Dickinson conducted an interview with Sky News promoting his August 2021 spoken word tour.
Although his interview headlines for speaking about Brexit’s impact on touring during the interview, he was intriguingly wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the words ‘Belshazzar’s Feast’ in a decidedly heavy metal font.
IRON MAIDEN fan and journalist Edwin McFee pointed out on Twitter on Monday that Belshazzar’s Feast is the story of the writing on the wall in the bible.
Over the past couple of weeks, British heavy metal legends have been posting cover of their past albums photoshopping “WOTW,” on the cover.
