IRON MAIDEN’S BRUCE DICKINSON Honored As a Citizen of Honor of Sarajevo

Iron Maiden’s vocalist Bruce Dickinson was honored as a citizen of honor of Saravejo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, for giving back people’s hope during the civil war between 1992 and 1995. He will receive the honor on November 25th in a ceremony in Saravejo.

Bruce Dickinson performed a series of solo shows in the under siege city in December, 1994, showing the population that they weren’t alone. His band and him were taken into Saravejo in a UN truck.
