Is FIELDY Back In KORN? Reunion Rumors Swirl

Korn Fieldy

KORN bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu has mostly stayed out of the spotlight in recent years, but a new photo of him with KORN drummer Ray Luzier has fans buzzing about a potential reunion.

The picture, taken at last month’s annual NAMM convention in Anaheim, California, shows Fieldy and Luzier standing together — a notable sight given that Fieldy revealed in a 2025 interview with Basement Talk that he hadn’t spoken with his bandmates since 2019. “They’re truckin’. They’re a machine. They’re going,” he said at the time. “It’s insane. It’s dope that they can keep on going like that. It’s cool to see them keep on going, but I need to chill.”

Fieldy officially stepped away from KORN in 2021, citing personal reasons and the need to address what he called “bad habits.” While fans were initially concerned, he clarified that these issues were not related to dr*g use. Despite his physical absence from the band, Fieldy still contributed bass to KORN’s 2022 album Requiem.

During his hiatus, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES’ Ra Díaz has been handling bass duties for live shows, ensuring that the band’s touring momentum remained uninterrupted. Even so, Fieldy has technically remained a part of KORN’s official lineup, though public sightings with his bandmates have been rare.

While it’s unclear if the recent photo signals a meaningful reconciliation, it represents the first time in several years that Fieldy has been seen with a member of KORN. Fans are left wondering whether this casual encounter could hint at future collaborations — or even a return to the stage.

As of now, neither Fieldy nor the band has commented on the implications of the sighting. Until then, speculation continues to swirl around the possible return of one of nu-metal’s most iconic bassists.
