Someone has started a petition on CHANGE.ORG for the entire world to forever change the name of the mixed drink “Jack and Coke” to a “Lemmy“.
This petition states “A Jack Daniels and Coke will forever be associated with Ian Fraser “Lemmy” Kilmister, the iconic founder of MOTORHEAD. To celebrate and remember one of Rock and Roll’s true legends, I petition everyone to henceforth and hereafter refer to the combination of Jack Daniels Whiskey and Coca-Cola as a “Lemmy“.
Let it be so.”
I will be signing and beginning participation from right now until I die. You can bet your ass that the next time I go to the bar that I will order a “Lemmy” in honor of Mr. Kilmister.
