Jon Bon Jovi has voiced his support for Kamala Harris in her presidential campaign by sharing his latest song, “The People’s House,” which includes a collaboration with Michigan-based gospel and country duo THE WAR AND TREATY.
Yesterday (October 11), Bon Jovi wrote on social media: “The People’s House is a song that celebrates this beautiful place that we call home, from sea to shining sea. The truth matters. And the truth is on election day I’ll be voting for @KamalaHarris and @TimWalz because I believe in the power of we, not of me. I’ve written a song reminding us that out of many, we are still one.”
In the past, Bon Jovi has backed other Democratic presidential candidates and released songs following George Floyd’s death, as well as in support of current U.S. President Joe Biden. Additionally, in 2010, former U.S. President Barack Obama appointed Jon to the White House Council for Community Solutions.
Bon Jovi was reportedly present at a recent fundraiser for Kamala Harris, held at the home of New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, with Doug Emhoff also in attendance.
