KINGS OF THRASH — the collaboration featuring MEGADETH alumni David Ellefson (bass) and Jeff Young (guitar), joined by vocalist/guitarist Chaz Leon and drummer Fred Aching — has announced the upcoming release of a new single through Cleopatra Records.
In a brief statement, the band described the forthcoming track as “an explosive song packed with killer riffs, electric solos, and nonstop headbanging moments.” The single will serve as the follow-up to “Lockdown,” released in May.
KINGS OF THRASH recently wrapped up a pair of tours showcasing full-album performances of MEGADETH’s Killing Is My Business… And Business Is Good! and So Far, So Good… So What! Their live activity was previously documented on the 2023 CD/DVD release Best Of The West… Live At The Whisky A Go Go, captured during their October 15, 2022 show in West Hollywood. Directed by Michael Sarna, the DVD features a guest appearance from former MEGADETH guitarist Chris Poland.
Further details on the new single, including its title and release date, are expected to be announced soon.
