KIRK HAMMETT Messes Up ‘Nothing Else Matters’ Intro, Says He Got Distracted By Audience (Video)

Kirk Hammett Messes Up Nothing Else Matters Solo

METALLICA had a bit of a hiccup during their headlining set this past Sunday (May 29) at the Boston Calling music festival in Allston, Massachusetts.

The band’s guitarist Kirk Hammett jammed a bit of BOSTON‘s “More Than a Feeling,” and just as he was about to launch into the group’s iconic power ballad “Nothing Else Matters,” he messed up the opening notes.

Hammett promptly fell to the floor in embarrassment and laughed it off, and later addressing the crowd: “Sorry, guys. You’re so kickass. I got distracted by how kickass you are.”

Walmart recently announced another round of METALLICA colored vinyl, this time including LoadReLoadGarage, Inc.St. Anger, and Death Magnetic.

These five titles will hit Walmart store shelves on June 17, but stock is limited.

Load is presented on Poor Twisted Orange vinyl, ReLoad on Flaming Fuel vinyl, Garage Inc. on Fade To Blue vinyl, St. Anger on Some Kind Of Orange vinyl and Death Magnetic on Magnetic Silver vinyl. There’s no word at the moment if these reissues will be released outside of the US.

The bundle is available to pre-order from Walmart here.
