KISS Members GENE SIMMONS, TOMMY THAYER, And ERIC SINGER Reunite Onstage At The ‘Love Ride’ Charity Motorcycle Event (Video)

The Gene Simmons Band Love Ride 2025

THE GENE SIMMONS BAND, fronted by legendary KISS bassist and co-founder Gene Simmons, delivered a special performance at the 34th installment of the Love Ride powered by Harley-Davidson on Sunday, November 9. Fans were treated to a surprise reunion when Simmons was joined onstage by his longtime KISS bandmates Tommy Thayer (guitar) and Eric Singer (drums) for a pair of KISS classics.

The trio performed renditions of “Calling Dr. Love”—originally featured on KISS’s Rock And Roll Over album in 1976—and “Let Me Go, Rock ‘N’ Roll” from the band’s 1974 release Hotter Than Hell.

The event began at the iconic Harley-Davidson of Glendale and concluded at Castaic Lake, where participants enjoyed a full day celebrating motorcycle culture and charity. Proceeds from the event supported the Wounded Warrior Project and Adopt The Arts, continuing Love Ride’s long-standing mission of giving back.

Founded in 1984 by Oliver Shokouh, the Love Ride Foundation has raised over $25 million for numerous causes, including Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Autism Speaks, the USO, and the Santa Clarita Education Foundation. After several years on hiatus, the return of Love Ride 34 marked a powerful revival of one of the world’s most respected charity motorcycle gatherings—uniting riders, musicians, and fans for a day of purpose and community.

Meanwhile, KISS fans can look forward to another exciting reunion later this month. Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer will come together for the KISS Kruise: Landlocked In Vegas, set for November 14–16, 2025, at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The event will feature two special “unmasked” performances—one acoustic and one electric—marking the band’s first live appearance together since retiring from touring in 2023.

In addition to the performances, the weekend-long celebration will include fan Q&A sessions, exclusive activities, meet-and-greets, and appearances by QUIET RIOT, Sebastian Bach, Bruce Kulick, and more. The event will honor KISS’s five-decade legacy and the 50th anniversary of the KISS Army, offering fans a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
