Richmond, VA groove metal titans LAMB OF GOD have set the rumor mill spinning with the launch of a mysterious new teaser site, s3ps1s.com. The site features cryptic hints that fans were quick to decipher, pointing toward the release of brand-new music this coming Thursday, October 2nd.

A short snippet of the rumored track has already surfaced online (check it out on Reddit here), suggesting that this week will mark the arrival of the band’s first fresh material of 2025. Outside of their cover of BLACK SABBATH’s “Children Of The Grave”, which appeared earlier this year, the upcoming single would be the first original LAMB OF GOD music fans have heard in almost 3 years.

The band’s last full-length record, Omens, arrived on October 7, 2022 via Epic Records and Nuclear Blast. Produced by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur, the album debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Top Hard Rock Albums chart, while also reaching No. 3 on Album Sales and Top Rock Albums, and No. 5 on Vinyl Albums. With over 19,000 copies sold in its first week, Omens cemented itself as another milestone in the group’s storied career.

While LAMB OF GOD have kept relatively quiet on new material since then, this latest teaser strongly suggests that the wait is finally over. If the hints are true, fans can expect the band to officially drop their new single later this week.
