LINKIN PARK Taps DEAD SARA’s EMILY ARMSTRONG As New Lead Singer, Announces ‘From Zero’ Album And Tour

Linkin Park 2024

LINKIN PARK — featuring original members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, and Joe Hahn, along with new additions Emily Armstrong (from the critically acclaimed band DEAD SARA) as co-vocalist and Colin Brittain (renowned songwriter/producer for G FLIP, ILLENIUM, ONE OK ROCK) as drummer — have unveiled their first new music in seven years.

The legendary band has thrilled fans with a slew of exciting updates: a new single and video for “The Emptiness Machine,” premiering at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET, a global livestream performance, and the announcement of six arena shows in Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg, London, Seoul, and Bogota as part of the “From Zero World Tour.” LP Underground fan club members can access exclusive pre-sales starting September 6, with general ticket sales beginning September 7. More information is available at LinkinPark.com.

These announcements mark the lead-up to LINKIN PARK‘s highly anticipated new album, From Zero, set to release on November 15—their first since 2017.

On Friday, September 6, the band will join longtime friend and Apple Music host Zane Lowe for an in-depth conversation about their iconic legacy, the seven-year journey to creating new music, and their excitement for the future. Fans can tune in to the full interview at 6 a.m. PT.

“Before LINKIN PARK, our first band name was XERO,” Shinoda stated. “This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future — embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what LINKIN PARK has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.”
