Earlier this month, LINKIN PARK frontman Chester Bennington told the fans to stab themselves in the face if they think band‘s new pop-oriented direction is driven by money.
Later on, SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR singer Corey Taylor shared his opinions on Bennington‘s statement, saying: “Be fortunate for what you have, be fortunate for that fact that people are still coming to see you to hear the music. Give it a little time — you have to give it a little time. ‘Cause in retrospect, maybe two or three years from now you put out an album and it makes them appreciate this one more. You have to pick your spots, dude, and this is coming from the guy who’s notorious for running his mouth.”
Now, Chester Bennington responded to Corey Taylor in a number of tweets saying that he actually agrees with Corey! Read out his tweets below:
Just heard Corey Taylor's response to something I said in an interview and I agree with him. I do appreciate our fans.

I'm human and sometimes take things too personally. Most of our fans have been very positive lately. Some… not so much.

Either way… there is a lot of passion on both sides and I am grateful to all of our fans. Corey is a good dude and I appreciate him too🤘

Time to recalibrate my perspective. So I say to all of our fans… Thank you and I love you all. Peace, love and happiness🙏
